So this is my first blog entry, which is weird, since I should have started blogging a long time ago. I’ve been a part of the web design community for a long time (well, the lurking part), reading many blogs a day, and vigorously trying to keep my 200 feed strong Bloglines account near zero new entries.
Why now, you might ask? Well, it’s a result of a series of events actually. First of all, I started to use Flickr. I shouldn’t have to tell you what a great photo sharing tool it is. If you’re not there already, do get over there.
My next step towards blogging must have been the creation of my personal site, bjorkoy.com. The response has been great, and I’ve even been bookmarked at del.icio.us. Because of this, I bought myself a copy of Mint. Now I’m addicted. I check my stats more often than my gmail account, and has gone from being a lurker to comment on most of the entries I read.
And now the reality has dawned on me. I want to be a part of this community, and to reach that goal, a blog is of course a must. So here it is. My blog. In English. Be warned, it is not my native language, so bare with me. In any event, welcome. I hope you’ll enjoy your stay. :)
